Caren Wanyonyi

Ms.Caren Wanyonyi a young woman in Bungoma County currently working as the Director of Special Programs in the county has been on the forefront sensitizing the community in bungoma county mostly on local dialect on awareness and prevention of Gender Based Violence,teenage pregnancy and defilement.
She is actively doing mentorship Programmes in schools education and empowering pupils and students on the yripple threat an on how to make informed decisions .Ms.Wanyonyi has equally directly rescued defilement victims and assisted them to attain justice in collaboration with the relevant bodies.
Ms.Caren Wanyonyi recently organised a stakeholder meeting bringing together county leadership and the office of the woman representative in consolidation effort to have the County’s Gender Rescue Centre opened and sustainably operationalize.
