Sophia Ann Hiuhu

Sophia is the Founder and Executive Director of Women in Society Empowerment (WISE), a community-based organization established in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic to,
restore hope and create opportunities for vulnerable women and girls.
Under her leadership, WISE has grown into an inclusive organization championing women’s leadership, disability inclusion, psychosocial support, cancer awareness, gender equality, economic empowerment, and youth development.
Through advocacy, skills training, strategic partnerships, and community engagement, WISE has empowered women, integrated persons with disabilities into its programs, supported cancer patients and caregivers, and continues to transform lives across Nakuru County by promoting dignity, resilience, and sustainable community development.
